Grey Nomads in our poptop caravan, based at Caloundra but travelling, doing some house sits which still allows us to travel and see the country without always taking the van.

Happy New Year
To you all stay safe and have a great evening if you are doing anything - nope won't be. Will be staying home, will try and see the New Year on watching the NY celebrations from Brisbane fireworks etc.
Our Friends From South Australia
I have known Judi since about 2006, she belonged to a craft forum that I had joined. Many of us stayed in touch and or joined other forums when the original closed. We caught up with Judi and George in 2013 when we did our caravan trip. Judi and George have a houseboat that is moored at Mannum, we were staying in the caravan park at Mannum so managed to spend a couple of days with them. They showed us around some of the beautiful areas of SA. Judi and George came to Caloundra to visit family (grandkids) the week before Christmas and we caught up with them at the Coffee Club for lunch.
Dogs Christmas Morning 1
Their homeowners had left gifts for them under the tree, toys and a few
treats. They all had a tin of Sardines for breakfast and had bloody fish
breath for most of the morning what a pong.
Lord Nelson
Little Nelson (Lord Nelson - Nelsy) is the best of the 3. Quietest, oldest no bother, just wants to be left alone. Nelson does not get on with Macey at all she is a big bully and really rough with Nelsy. Nelsy is on 2 heart pills daily, he is old and just likes to hang around sleeping. We keep him inside most of the time and try and let him out on his own without the bully being outside.

Boxing Day
RIP - Dear Aunt Florence, directly behind mum, Aunt was mum's bridesmaid.
Was very quiet we had Victoria, Olivia and Jamie over for a few hours and Jamie spent most of his time in the pool. We had a light salad lunch again and dessert. Opened some gifts it was great as we also did a skype session with Yasmine and Rory so that the boys could have a chat but not alot of chatting happened more just looking at the screen - lol. It was also a rather sad day as Mum's sister Aunt Florence died suddenly RIP Aunt FLorence, not sure what happened led to believe she had a fall Christmas Day and was taken to hospital for surgery we don't know if the surgery happened or not.
This is the beautiful cup that Olivia and Jamie gave to me - no one is allowed to use it!!!!
Merry Christmas
Hope you all had a great Christmas, our's was very very quiet, just the two of us and the dogs. We had parcels to open from under the tree. Lunch was cold chicken and ham along with salad and potatoes and dessert was mini pavs with passionfruit and whipped cream. Thanks Yasmine for the parcels you sent us and also Rory for our lovely Christmas Tree ornament of a Pukeko we love it and will put it on our tree for next year. We hope to come back for next Christmas 2017. The homeowners left us a box of Roses Chocolates a bottle of Brown Brother's Moscato wine and in the freezer a rolled Turkey Roast, which we cooked up and had cold for Boxing Day.
Brian and I with our spoils, we were spoilt.
Our friends Helen and David gave us this novel tin which has Shortbread inside it.
Where we are staying
This is the house we are minding until mid January. It is a new modern home with all mod cons, air con, foxtel, pool etc in a new area and it is very quiet no road noise. Neighbours on each side of us are away and there are no houses opposite as it is a reserve. It is just the two of us and the 3 dogs.
