Sunday 04 December
We left Sippy Downs on Friday for our 2wk house sit at Buderim. Before heading to the house we had to detour to the Caloundra Hospital Dental Clinic where Brian had an appointment as he had a broken tooth that needed to be taken out. The dental tech filed the said broken tooth off at gum level and gave us some numbers to ring for follow up appointments and the said tooth will be taken out on the 6th January, if we have any probs before then we will just head back to the clinic. Our house sit at Buderim is a very modern home with all mod cons and for the first time Brian has Foxtel to watch!!!!!!!!!!! We are minding two dogs an old Border Collie who is deaf and is very old her name is Daisy she is a Blue Merle, Daisy is 15yr, the other small pooch is Toby he is a moodle 10yrs and he is blind caused through a Tick, he is an inside dog however he finds his way around no problems. There is a beautiful pool which has been great as we have had very high temps and storms most late afternoons. This house sit actually overlaps our Christmas/New Year house sit at Glasshouse Mtns by 4 days, we will split for those few days it's not an issue and we have done it before. The homeowners have gone to Vietnam and Cambodia and will be spending Christmas on the Mekong in a river shack NO not a shack as we think this is a very up market shack. They would be the most down to earth homeowners we have had in the 3years we have been house sitting, on Friday when they left they had us in fits of laughter which makes the house sit very easy.
