Only A Week Left

Here at Sippy Downs, Helen and David are due home today infact as I type this they are in transit in Cairns, due into Brisvegas Airport at 1005am therefore they should be home for lunch. It is a bit wet here today and they are saying storms later and looking at the sky they might just well be correct. Off to meet up with our Christmas/New Year home owners tomorrow morning at Glasshouse Mtns (another young kiwi family heading back to Nelson for the festive season with family) . We head up to Buderim our next house sit next Friday Dec 2nd for 2wks then to Glasshouse Mtns. We had the swans come down the lake further yesterday, the cygnets are getting bigger each day and happy to say there are still 5. I fed them some bread which they happily scoffed. This will probably be the last post from here so until we get to Buderim see you later and stay safe.

Strollling Around The Lake

24 November 2016

On Tuesday afternoon we came across the Swans with their 5 young fluffy cygnets and a mother duck with 3 ducklings. We had some old bread crusts that we had saved so took them along and gave them some bread. Also saw a beautiful dragonfly on a twig it's wings were beautifully marked it is called a Graphic Flutterer.

Nupe I'm Staying Inside Today

I just want to practise my Pilates!!!!!!! today Oscar just did not want to go outside, he had a blobbing day lying around the lounge floor, leaving white furry fluff everywhere. He certainly has grown since earlier this year and is so much easier to look after. We try not to let him go out the front due to the roadway, but when he is outside he loves it - he can come in and go out via a cat door - makes life much easier.

12th November 2016

Sees us back at Helen and David's as they have jetted off overseas again to see their son and the grandkiddies in Hong Kong. Once again young Oscar needs to be looked after when we looked after him in at the beginning of the year Feb/Mar he was only a kitten now he is a big fluffy cat. We are here until Dec 2nd when we move only 20mins away up the hill to Buderim.
