Lake Weyba
Weyba Downs is a suburb on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The suburb contains Lake Weyba, a tidal lake that flows into Noosa River. "Weyba" is believed to mean "place of stingrays" or "place of flying squirrels. Being not a 5min walk away was Lake Weyba, the dogs loved it there playing in the water and Tilly retrieving sticks. We had two really stinking hot days while at Weyba Downs so we took the dogs to the lake for a swim and a paddle for us, it was lovely. Had to give the dogs a wash down when we came back however Tilly the border collie would not have a bar of the hose.
