Wednesday August 17th.
Firstly Happy Birthday Ian David Vallance this is our younger nephew, he has a birthday today and hope you have a great day Ian - Buggar about school eh!!!!!!
Awoke to yet another great day, just did the usual stuff this morning, showers, breakfast, van clean up and re-pack, did some washing makes a lighter load for when we arrive home Friday. As this is our last day we have decided to pack away some of the outdoor gear that we wont be needing as it makes less to do on the morning we leave. Brian went down and pulled the "Redclaw" net up however alas no feed for us, he let the 1 larger on go for another time. We headed into Emerald to fuel up the Tribute, collected some fruit from the supermarket at the Centro and had a coffee. Brian rang Caroline as we were seeing her and grandaughter Alesha tomorrow when we arrive in Gladstone. We came back to the van and had some lunch.
This afternoon was spent just sitting outside to enjoy the last of the time we have at the Lake.
Well this will do for now from Maraboon and catch you tomorrow from Gladstone.
