Left Caloundra 8:30, headed south on the Bruce hwy to Caboolture and the D'Aguilar hwy.
No dramas through Kilcoy, but struck major roadwork at Blackbutt where they are moving the main road because it's sinking. Stopped at our usual spot at Cooyar for a cuppa, and then on to Dalby. Weather was fine and sunny. The Warrego hwy hasn't improved any, it's still the same bounce bang and jarring ride. Just on the other side of Miles at a small village called Dulacca we pulled up and parked in behind the one and only pub. Rough but free. Had some drinks at the bar and a very nice basic meal there. The bar dog, a Siberian Husky was bored and lifted his muzzle to howl every now and then.
