With mum gone we thought there may have been tears however NO (sorry Yasmine) we left the airport and headed to the Caboolture Twin Servo heading north so the boys Rory and Jamie could have MacDonalds for tea while Nana and Grandad had a coffee. Tea eaten and a play on the playground it was time to head back to Woombye and the animals. Animals fed, showers done time to settle and watch a bit of TV before bed. We had a great week with Jamie staying which took the edge off Yasmine not being here. We did many things that week, went to the movies, fishing however true to form NO FISH, let the boys have a ride on the paddle boats at Maroochydore. The huge tree branches that came down made an amazing lead/branch hut for the lads and the dogs loved it also. A visit to the Nambour miniature trains was another great outing, one which grandad and I also enjoyed, what hours of work go into these little trains. The week up it was time for Rory and Nana to get organised for the shuttle to collect us from the IGA and take us to the airport where we had a few hours to wait, but there was so much happening the time flew by before we flew out on our flight to Christchurch. Certainly hope Rory will come over next time on his own and have another holiday with us, possibly January.
