Well actually this is behind as Yasmine and Rory are now back home in Christchurch. However we all had a wonderful time, doing lots, seeing lots - well is that not what holidays are all about. While Yasmine was here for a week we did things that Yasmine wanted to see or do. We went to the Big Pineapple and Queensland Zoo, while at the zoo we saw the late Steve Irwin's dad - Bob, he has pulled away from Australia Zoo and is heavily involved with the Qld Zoo which is only about a 5min drive from the house where we are still house sitting. We also went to the Ginger factory at Yandina where Rory held a 5year old croc along with Jamie our other grandson age 10. Rory and Jamie had a wonderful time together. (Jamie lives here in Qld). We also went to the Eumundi markets which we will go to again I think next time just Yasmine and I as you need virtually to spend the day there, we left as it was starting to rain, however we did manage to have a good look around. We also went Whale Watching, the day was fantastic, and we saw Whales and calves. All we wanted to do was see a whale and we sure did. With Yasmine's week over we took her to the airport where Rory said bye to mum for a week while he had a holiday with us. Having Jamie with us made it easier on Rory - NO TEARS when mum left. Both Rory and I flew back to Christchurch a week later with Nana having Shingles appear the week they arrived, it was very painful and uncomfortable.
