Lazy day Lake Maraboon
Tuesday August 16th
Well today was our lazy lazy day at the Lake, we spent the whole day at the van park just doing nothing - what else to do when one is on holiday.
Brian is still really unwell therefore we decided was best just to have a real easy day and that is what we had.
Sitting in the sun reading and chatting to other caravanner's seemed a pleasant way to spend the day and enjoy the wonderful weather. I did get out and get a few photos. Just behind our caravan there is a tree with the most beautiful stunning flowers it is called a "Bauhinia Tree" commonly called the "Hong Kong Orchid Tree" the flowers are truely gorgeous they are large orchid like flowers rich magenta purple with plaer veins (see photo)
How about a motor trike camping trip, there were two of these trikes in the park with their little vans in tow, these van's are amazingly roomy once up. (see photo)
A very large colourful ladybird. (see photo) it actually was crawling over my neck not a good feeling when you cann't see what is crawling over you!!!!!
The ever beautiful "Sulphur crested Cockatoo, he called for a free feed he was very tame and not frightened at all. (see photo) and lastly the lovely pool area beside our caravan site - (see photo)
Catch you all tomorrow
