On the way back we stopped to take a
few photos of one of the huge wineries in the
area, it is pruning time and all done
by machine - imagine pruning this by hand. The
vines are obviously a staggered crop as
many as you can see have no leaves and the
vines are very bare and some have new
green foliage poking through. The vineyard is
326 acres and grows 4 varieties of grape, it is all fully irrigated. The car is the one we use
when we take the dog out for a drive and or walk, it is the owners car and an old Holden
she goes well and is really great on fuel.
