Grey Nomads in our poptop caravan, based at Caloundra but travelling, doing some house sits which still allows us to travel and see the country without always taking the van.

Whale Watching
Another of the highlights was the day we went Whale Watching, Rory had no idea where we were going as we had not told him, all he knew was he had to be up early in the morning as we had to be somewhere very special. The day dawned and was stunning blue clear skies and the sea was calm. We were worried as we had, had wet weather and rough seas so I was very worried when I booked that the day we chose would be same - however it could not have been better. We left from Mooloolaba at 9.00am so we had to get through the peak work hour traffic hence leaving in plenty of time to get there. We had a super morning seeing many mother whales with their calves. We had one pair in particular who stayed around our boat. It was very special and probably something we won't do again.
