Caper White Butterflies


While at Weyba we noticed the huge abundance of butterflies. It appears what had happened was that there was strong westerly winds that blew these butterflies off course to the south east. They usually feed on the caper shrubs, however with the lack of unsuitable food here for them many will die.


 
 
 
 

This is the Orchard Swallowtail we loved seeing it flying around and feeding on a bush just outside the kitchen window.
