One evening we did a trip on the Baloone River it was 2hrs and took in the huge river that the Baloone is, it was very cold however the host had a plastic bin full of blankets that we could wrap ourselves in to keep warm and out of the cold wind. The scenery was stunning especially as we came into sunset. We saw some birdlife which was lovely however as it was getting dark it was hard to get any good shots.We departed at 4.00pm and arrived back at 6.00pm, doing these boat trips is a great way to see the river and scenery that you otherwise would not get to see, it was well worth doing and one we enjoyed. The reflections on the water were amazing.
